On a perpetual quest of infusing vibrant color in her life, Lori Delfosse says ‘YES’ to many intrigues. From traveling, the outdoors and working as an entrepreneurial nurse, she is inspired by the COLORS that present on her vast escapades. Her enchantment with COLOR shows in her work of varied mediums of stained glass, textiles, water color & acrylics.
Lori’s inspirations are based in her insatiable desire to experience life to it’s fullest. Having grown up in the cornfields of the midwest, her childhood imagination and love for books took her on excursions to far off lands. From Istanbul and India to the Islands of Hawaii and The Caribbean, she has yet to travel all her childhood wonders, but is now often seen off-shore sailing on historical classic wood boats. She brings her passion for COLOR and intuitive motion to the canvas to this year’s show COLOR INSPIRED . . .
Lisa Waldheger discovered her passion for painting several years ago when she hosted a painting party
for her mother and a group of friends. The group was led by Dr. Andy Dowd, an accomplished water-
colorist, and her mother Marion Love!, a free-spirited artist who enjoyed creating treasures in many
mediums. Inspired, Lisa kept painting, moving from water colors to acrylics, and experimenting with
di&erent colors-schemes, patterns, shapes and techniques.
Painting during the fall of 2015 strengthened her bond with her mother, and forged a friendship with Dr.
Dowd, who also worked with her at South County Health. Sadly, neither lived to see the spring. While
Lisa mourned, she also painted, and began to feel that while she was painting she was communing with
her mother. Her beautiful work honors her mother Marion’s spirit and creative spark.
Lisa is a mother of three beautiful children, and lives with them and her three dogs, Delta, Cosmo and Gavin.
